We’re excited to announce we’ll be screening the first part (about 8min 30sec) of Awesome Asian Bad Guys as a short at the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. It’s a great festival that focuses on music, film, art and entrepreneurship. We’ll be screening alongside the feature film Homemakers, directed by Colin Healey, as part of a special presentation by our friends at IFP.

If you’re in NY, definitely go check it out.

And here’s more info about the festival from Northside’s website:

Since its inaugural run in the summer of 2009, the Northside Festival has grown from a small DIY-affair to a full-fledged discovery festival taking over 50+ venues in Williamsburg and Greenpoint and featuring over 350 bands. Past musical talent includes Guided by Voices, GZA, Of Montreal, Atlas Sound, Beirut, Wavves, Jens Lekman, Olivia Tremor Control, Theophilus London and many, many more. Last year, we expanded from Music, Film and Art to include a two day Entrepreneurship festival which featured more than 40 lectures and educational sessions. We like to call it NExT: Northside Entrepreneurship + Technology.

Thanks to IFP’s Dan Schoenbrun and Northside’s Sarah Lerner for this opportunity.

**ALSO, we hope to do a full New York screening soon, so please keep in touch and we’ll keep you updated. You can stay connected via Twitter, Facebook, our email list (sign-up to the right) or by just coming back and checking our website.
